Position Summary
The DC Vendor Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting and maintaining vendor and customer compliance standards within United Legwear’s automated 1.8M sq. ft. distribution center.
Operating in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, this position ensures compliance with routing, packaging, labeling, and documentation requirements across systems and processes. The coordinator works closely with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues, leverage automation tools to enhance accuracy, and help drive operational efficiency while minimizing chargebacks. This role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with system-driven workflows, and the ability to adapt in a continuously evolving logistics landscape.

Functional Responsibilities
1.Direct Daily Operations
•Monitor and audit vendor activities to ensure alignment with company policies, customer requirements, and compliance standards.
•Investigate and resolve compliance errors or discrepancies, ensuring timely order processing.
•Maintain and update compliance records, tools, and systems to reflect current requirements.
•Monitor DC floor workflow and direct tasks to ensure compliance alignment and productivity.
2.Communication and Collaboration:
•Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor compliance inquiries across assigned customer accounts.
•Partner with DC associates, customer service, and leadership to resolve compliance issues and improve service.
•Coordinate with external vendors to align on compliance standards and expectations.
3.Continuous Improvement
•Identify trends in compliance errors and collaborate with leadership on corrective action plans.
•Support process enhancements to reduce chargebacks and increase accuracy and efficiency.
•Recommend and assist in the implementation of operational best practices and training initiatives.
4. Continuing Education
• Stay informed of evolving vendor compliance policies and industry standards.
• Participate in ongoing compliance training and cross-functional learning opportunities.
Education/Qualifications
• REQUIRED
o High school diploma or equivalent or some college courses.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated interpersonal abilities.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and compliance tracking tools.
•PREFERRED
o Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration
o Compliance-related certifications (e.g., CTPAT, ISO, or equivalent).
o Bilingual in Spanish.
Experience
• REQUIRED
o Minimum 2 years of experience in a distribution center, warehouse operations, or logistics environment.
o Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem-solve independently.
o Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
•PREFERRED
o 1+ year of experience specifically in vendor compliance, chargeback resolution, or customer-specific routing guidelines.
o Experience in apparel, footwear, or 3PL (third-party logistics) operations.
o Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or ERP software.
o Exposure to compliance auditing or ticketing/labeling systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
