We are seeking a talented and creative Associate Designer to join our dynamic design team overseeing the product lifecycle of our United Paper Goods brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for paper goods and gifting products, with a keen eye for detail and a flair for design. The Associate Designer will work closely with the merchandising, sales, and product team members to develop unique and appealing products that align with our brand vision.

Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):
  • Collaborate with the design team to create original and innovative designs for paper goods and gifting products, including greeting cards, gift wraps, stationery, and packaging.
  • Assist in the development of design concepts, mood boards, and prototypes.
  • Produce high-quality design mock-ups and final artwork using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Conduct market research to stay current with trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to the design process.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and meet production specifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the accurate production of designs.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and materials for product launches and sales meetings.
  • Maintain organized design files and documentation.
Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within the paper goods or gifting industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and print production processes.
  • Excellent creativity and artistic skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for paper goods, gifting products, and design trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with illustration and hand-lettering.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
  • Familiarity with 3D design software (e.g., SketchUp) is a plus.
This is an onsite work position. Salary range is $65,000 - $75,000.
