As part of our Digital Commerce Centre of Excellence, we are now looking for a Digital Brand & Product Copywriter to help bring the Ted Baker brand voice to life across our global ecommerce platforms.
THE ROLE
As Digital Brand & Product Copywriter, you will play a key role in shaping how Ted Baker communicates online.
Working closely with digital, marketing, merchandising, and design teams across London, Amsterdam, and New York, you will craft compelling copy that captures Ted Baker’s distinctive tone of voice while supporting commercial goals across our ecommerce platforms.
From product descriptions and category storytelling to seasonal campaigns and brand narratives, you’ll ensure every word reflects the wit, creativity, and sophistication that define the Ted Baker brand.
This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, ecommerce content, and digital performance, requiring both creative flair and an understanding of how content supports discoverability, engagement, and conversion.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
✍️ Brand & Product Copywriting
Write engaging product descriptions across menswear, womenswear, accessories, and homeware
Develop compelling category pages, campaign copy, and digital brand storytelling
Ensure all content reflects the distinctive Ted Baker tone of voice
🤝 Content Accuracy & Collaboration
Work closely with merchandising, design, marketing, and licensing teams to gather product insights
Ensure product information is accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand standards
Collaborate with international teams across New York, Amsterdam, and London
🔍 SEO & Digital Performance
Apply SEO best practices to improve search visibility and organic traffic
Ensure product and category copy supports discoverability and digital performance
📅 Seasonal & Collection Launches
Update and refresh content in line with new collections, campaigns, and seasonal launches
Support the digital team during key trading periods and product drops
🌍 Content Quality & Localisation
Proofread all onsite content to ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy
Support translation and localisation workflows for European markets
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a creative storyteller with a strong understanding of digital commerce and a passion for fashion, language, and brand voice.
You understand how to balance engaging brand storytelling with commercial performance, ensuring content resonates with customers while supporting ecommerce goals.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience writing product or editorial content within an ecommerce or digital environment
Strong understanding of SEO and its role in digital content strategy
Ability to adapt tone of voice while maintaining brand consistency
Exceptional writing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Confident communicator who enjoys working across creative and commercial teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with Shopify or similar CMS platforms is a plus
