People & Culture Intern (HR)
Focus: Onboarding, Internal Communication, Employee Engagement & HR Ops (…and anything else you’re curious about!)
📍 Amsterdam/Hoofddorp | 🗓️ Start: mid-June | 🕐 Full-time for 5-6 months

The Role
We’re looking for a People & Culture Intern who’s excited to create smooth onboarding experiences, support internal communication, organize fun and meaningful events, and help with day-to-day HR operations. It’s a great opportunity to get a 360° view of the People & Culture world in a fast-paced, creative company.
What You’ll Be Doing
👋 Onboarding & Employee Experience
Organize and improve the onboarding process for new hires (schedules, welcome emails, first-day set-up, etc.)
Create a warm, structured, and consistent experience across all teams
Bring fresh ideas to help new joiners feel informed, welcomed, and excited
💬 Internal Communication & Culture
Draft internal newsletters, event invites, and team updates
Help keep handbooks and HR documents up to date and easy to navigate
Support our employee experience strategy, from team rituals to internal events and everything in between
🎉 Engagement & Events
Brainstorm creative ways to connect our team across departments and countries
Be a culture ambassador; help us make ULAC an even better place to work
📁 HR Operations
Help prepare employment contracts, employee letters, and internal templates
Maintain employee records and organize digital documentation
Support with employee queries and day-to-day HR admin
Assist with projects like updating policies, building handbooks, and standardizing HR tools (e.g. onboarding templates, feedback surveys, etc.)

What We’re Looking For
✅ Currently studying in HR, Communications, Psychology, Business, or a related field
✅ Organized, proactive, and eager to learn
✅ Comfortable working with people and building relationships
✅ Sharp attention to detail -- you notice the small things that make a big difference
✅ A “get things done” mindset -- you take initiative and follow through
✅ Fluent in English
✅ Enrolled during the internship and eligible to work in the Netherlands
✅ Available full-time from (ideally) mid-June for 5–6 months
