Together, we’re shaping an international HR function that balances business needs with real employee experience. We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves, bring sharp judgment, and help us scale with care and clarity.
What You’ll Do
You’ll own the core of People Operations ensuring everything runs smoothly on time, and legally sound. Responsibilities include:
Own our shared HR Inbox, respond to employee and manager queries on foundational labour law (notice periods, probation, sickness, etc.) in a timely manner
Coordinate monthly payroll with our provider (Remote), keep track of HR mutations and ensure accurate records
Maintain data accuracy across systems (Remote, DocuSign, Leapsome, JazzHR, HR Drive)
Maintain and update our Employee Handbook, create and update HR policies
Research employment law topics (NL, UK, FR, DE) and ensure compliance with country-specific labour law
Spot opportunities to automate and simplify HR workflows
Draft employment contracts, addenda, reference letters, and other HR-related documentation in alignment with local labor laws and company templates
May directly manage sickness cases and Arbo processes
Collaborate with colleagues across TA, performance, employee engagement, internal events and more - if you want to learn, we’ll open doors!
Who You Are
1 to 2+ years in People Ops or HR admin
Proficient knowledge of foundational Dutch labour law (notice period, probation, employment contract renewal, sickness management, parental leave, vacation, basic payroll etc.) is a must. Bonus points for UK, German, or French HR experience
Strong discernment and ability to prioritize what matters in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized, detail orientated, process-driven, and proactive

Natural customer service mindset: clear, courteous & solution-oriented
Comfortable with HR tools like Remote.com, DocuSign, JazzHR, Leapsome
Available 3 days/week in the office (2x Amsterdam, 1x Hoofddorp), flexibility provided, ideally Monday to Wednesday.

We’re still building – our HR operations are evolving during a transformation phase of the company, and not every process is neatly documented (yet). If you expect plug-and-play SOPs, this isn’t the role for you.
We work smart – tools like ChatGPT and other AI platforms are part of our daily toolkit to move faster and solve problems.
Figure it out mindset – we’ll lay foundations, but we expect you to take initiative, investigate, and propose solutions.
